TAAQ explores the quiet architecture of absence — the lattice through which the Hawa Mahal's royal women observed a world that could not observe them in return. Embroidered rather than opaque, the piece becomes a jharokha of its own: present, intricate, and permeable to light. Every thread is drawn to allow something to pass through — the gaze, the breeze, the hour. The garment does not seek to be looked at. It exists so that something else may be noticed.
- Maison Maan Atelier
Lattice becomes embroidery. The measured geometry of a jharokha settles into the fall of a sleeve, and the quiet repetition of carved sandstone finds its echo along the surface of silk. What was pierced into stone is now pierced into thread. Light becomes pattern, pattern becomes shadow, and the long patience of a window carved for watching returns as the stillness of embroidery held close to the body.
“To be present without being observed — that is the oldest architecture we know.”

Every couture piece begins with listening.
Measurements, intentions and personal expression shape the commission.
The garment is developed patiently inside the atelier through craftsmanship and refinement.
Every adjustment is made until the piece feels naturally complete.
The finished couture piece begins its life with its wearer.
Some things cannot be rushed. Couture is one of them.
